Chesapeake Boat Works is the marine facility of choice on the East Coast and has been a fixture on the Chesapeake Bay since the Price family started it in 1910. Throughout the years, vessels of all sizes, from traditional and local craft to the most luxurious mega yachts and tall ships, have been brought to us for extensive refits, repairs and overhauls. Generations of experience and fine craftsmanship along with 100 years of excellent service are why we are still here in 2010.

Today, brothers Jon and Rick Farinholt own and operate Chesapeake Boat Works. Rick is a lifelong boater and the craftsman of the family while Jon is the business and financial side. With a continued focus on meeting the needs of boating customers along with our dedication to top-quality craftsmanship, the Chesapeake Boat Works facility is certain to be around for another 100 years.

We have recently added another location in Deltaville to better serve the boating community in the area. Stingray Point Boat Works, operated by brother Lee Farinholt, is a specialized, full-service boat yard.
