Chesapeake Boat Works is a full-service boatyard with facilities to handle all sizes and makes of boats. We offer the finest craftsmanship with a team comprised of generations of skilled craftsmen, technicians, and shipwrights. With a focus on the repair, rebuild, and custom finishes for sail and power boats, traditional tall ships, and modern yachts, we offer a full range of services from indoor, climate controlled painting booths to well-managed, long-term refit projects.

We are one of the only deep-water facilities on the Chesapeake Bay with multiple marine railways. Our docks and railway can accommodate boats up to 130 ft with a 35 ft beam.

Chesapeake Boat Works's 50-ton travel lift is available and has a 15+ ft. depth at pier's edge.

We offer hurricane haul out services and a preferred client list. Our secure, locked storage yard is perfectly protected from potential storms and hurricanes and is located 20 feet above sea level. CBW has 12 acres of land for 200 boats for seasonal storage (3-6 months) and long-term storage (7+ months).

We provide wireless internet, newly restored restrooms, laundry facilities, dockage, and if you prefer, anchorage in beautiful and protected Fishing Bay.
