When your boat needs to come out of the water for repair or refit, there is no safer way to haul it than by marine railway. Our multiple marine railways allow us to handle any type of vessel. Chesapeake Boat Works can service up to four boats simultaneously on the railways and one of our railways leads to a covered shop. The CBW entrance and pier's edge is15 ft MLW.

• Commercial marine railway – hauls everything from tall ships to working vessels up to 300 tons with a maximum length of 130 ft with a 35 ft beam.
• Small marine railway – handles motor yachts and larger sailing vessels up to 125 tons with a maximum length of 85ft with a 24 ft beam.
